What is CEPAD?

Centro de Estudos para a Paz e o Desenvolvimento (CEPAD) or Centre of Studies for Peace and Development is a Timorese NGO that was established in 2007 in response to 2006 crisis and was formally registered on 14 April 2009. Its mission is to use collaborative research and interactive dialogue to advance the understanding of conflict-related issues and the major challenges to the consolidation of democracy in Timor-Leste.
